Hayyim Schauss taught for over a quarter of a century at the Jewish Teachers Seminary in New York, and, in Los Angeles, at the College of Jewish Studies and the University of Judaism. He was the author of many books and articles on the Jewish religion, its customs, ceremonies and folklore.
