B Company Arrived The Men (2e-hands)

This book is intended as a supplement to the book 'B Company Arrived' which was published in 2003 and told the story of B Company, 2nd Parachute Battalion at the Battle of Arnhem, September 1944. This new publication highlights some of the men from the Company. The information about them has been put into seven short stories telling who they were, where they came from and what happened to them. One of the stories is about the Gronert twins, Thomas and Claude, who were tragically killed on the first day of the battle, side by side. In this and the other stories the experiences of family members have also been included. In addition to these seven stories there is also a chapter which includes a large number of previously unpublished photographs and documentation about other members of the Company. Although this book is described as a supplement, it is written in such a way that it can be read as a book on its own.
