40 jaar eigenwijs! - 40 years of pioneering spirit! - De geschiedenis van Introdans Interactie (2e-hands)
Introdans doet al 40 jaar aan danseducatie. Het is één van de eerste educatieve dansgezelschappen van Nederland. Na veertig woelige jaren bestaat de educatieve poot van Introdans nog immer, is eigenwijzer dan ooit en heeft een nieuwe, hedendaagse naam: Introdans Interactie. Daarmee geeft Introdans aan dat het echt een interactie met mensen tot stand brengt. Dat wordt zeer zichtbaar in het werk op scholen, in de community art projecten en in de projecten met bijzondere doelgroepen: de unieke amateurdansers waar Introdans Interactie steeds vaker mee werkt.
De oorspronkelijke doelstelling was dans, in de ruimste zin des woords, introduceren bij een zo groot mogelijk publiek. Nou dat lukt, en de interactieve werkwijze van Introdans Interactie draagt daar enorm aan bij. Steeds meer mensen komen in aanraking met de dans van Introdans. Ik heb heel vaak bij projecten van Introdans gezien dat dans een aanstekelijke taal is voor mensen die iets bijzonders hebben. De fysieke expressie die de dans losmaakt, blijkt bijvoorbeeld bij mensen in een rolstoel, zoals in de samenwerking met Rock & Rolstoel Producties tijdens Het Duel, ontzettend goed aan te slaan. Bij Introdans Interactie gaat het om de wisselwerking tussen mensen, dat maakt het bijzonder en ook eigenwijs. Introdans ontwikkelt en professionaliseert de danseducatie, op geheel eigen wijze levert het gezelschap een interessante en innovatieve bijdrage aan de ontwikkeling van danseducatie in heel Nederland.Introdans is duurzaam bezig met allerlei vormen van educatie en is gericht op duurzame interactie, met mensen, door dans. Nederland en met name het oosten van Nederland mag daar heel trots op zijn.
Introdans has been involved in dance education for 40 years. It was one of the first educational dance companies in the Netherlands. And today, after forty highly eventful years, Introdans still has its education department, is more individual and innovative than ever and bears a new, contemporary name: Introdans Interaction. This name points to the fact that Introdans truly engages in interaction with people. It achieves this through its work in schools, in its community art projects and in its projects with special target groups: the remarkable amateur dancers with whom Introdans Interactior works increasingly often.
The original goal was to introduce dance, in the broadest sense of the term, to the widest possible audience. The company succeeds in this goal, and the interactive approach of Introdans Interaction makes a huge contribution. Ever more people are coming into contact with the dance of Introdans. Time and again in Introdans projects, I have seen how dance proves to be a wonderful language for people who have a specific limitation. The physical expressiveness set free by dance seems to be a fantastic experience, for instance for people in wheelchairs in the collaboration with Rock & Rolstoel Producties during Net Duel ('The Duel'). At Introdans Interaction it's all about exchange and interplay between people - this is what makes the group so special and so unusual. Introdans is developing and professionalising dance education; in its own individual way the company is making an interesting and innovative contribution to the development of dance education throughout the Netherlands.
Introdans remains active with many forms of education and it focuses on long-lasting interaction, with people, through dance. The Netherlands, and in particular the eastern Netherlands, can be very proud of them.
